37th Degree is an award-winning international creative studio.
Founded by Kimbo Kim, Maximilian Selim, and Giovanni Fumu, we’ve been making films, music videos, original IP, and branded content since 2014. Our work has competed at Venice, premiered at SXSW, and reached global audiences through theatrical release and major streaming platforms. Our team is based between Seoul and New York, with productions across Seoul, New York, and Los Angeles.
What We’ve Made
Our original work has screened In Competition at the Venice Film Festival twice (73rd and 78th editions), premiered at SXSW London and the Sitges Film Festival ‘Noves Visions’ Competition, and played at Jeonju, BIFAN, and the Santa Barbara International Film Festival — among many more selections across features and short films. The US-Korea co-production ABROAD had a theatrical release in June 2025 and is now streaming on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Tubi, and TVING. In 2025, our co-founder was selected by KOFIC to represent Korea at the Cannes Film Festival Producer Network.
Beyond film, we’ve produced music videos for BTS, NewJeans, TWICE, j-hope, and other leading artists, developed K-pop episodic content for SM’s AESPA Cinematic Universe (Episodes 1, 2, and 3), and created branded series for Samyang (Buldak) and Samsung.
